We installed it in our guest bathroom that already had wall tile, tub and toilet of a unique color and because your "color chips" provided a perfect match, we could purchase the one replacement item (toilet cover) without remodeling the bathroom. We saved a lot of money; the alternitive was to install a mismatch of color in our otherwise attractive bathroom.

I had a difficult time finding a toilet seat that color matched my [...] toilet and sink - Merlot. [...] However, I would not have bought it from [...] because since I bought this toilet in 1994, I have had to replace the seat twice because it split. The lid broke and the seat also, this is with ordinary usage. These toilet seats cost too much (Approx $70.) to break that easily. I hope that this one by Bemis lasts longer!

They got close with the color, but the paint chip we matched up matched better than the actual seat they made.
We bought a 1959 Ranch with a Sage Bathroom. Kinda a green/gray, but it had a plain white toilet seat.
The color Bemis is much better than the white, and it seems very thick and sturdy.
