          I have over the yr's bought these transparent toilet seats , even as gifts , but the hardware rusts with-in months , I bought my brother the one with all the seashells to match his bathroom ,2 yr' ago , I ask him the other day how it was holdin up, he said in the trash , all the hardware rusted and peeled very quickly, and used only soap and water to clean , no abrasives, well , mine is about a yr old , and my hubbys is about 1&1/2 yr old , and they are doing the same thing, The one I bought for my brother was [$]I was not so shocked , but , I will continue to purchase from them anyway , they need to improve the hardware, mine is peeling off (the silver hardware) and I just use hott water to clean , and dry it off, I guess the humidity from the shower must have somrthing to do with it , plastic would be better for hardware, my next one will have different hardware, The silver looks pretty , but it is infearior, a choice of differnt colored plastic hardware would last a long time , and you can not find replacement hardware, so I use them as (the lid) as stepping stones outside , and the bottom to plant a plant in the center looks cool , I have 3 of them outside now, and these 2 are ready to go , I will continue to buy from same Co. All of them do the same thing , no matter where you buy them,[...] carries a few , but look cheap [$]but hardware doew the same thing , my 1st was ducks, it's outside with the ducks ...LOL..but everyone ask where did you find this , and I tell them, and they order , just to cool to pass up
